Restore and Recover Postnatal

An eight week programme designed to help you

feel better, stronger and ready to exercise again after birth.

Restore and Recover Postnatal is an eight week bespoke 1-1 programme to help you heal after birth, learn more about your body so you can go back to regular exercise classes with ease.

  • A completely tailored programme to you to enjoy 1-1 at either the Hoddesdon or Finchley clinics.

  • Massage sessions to help release areas of tightness, reduce pain and improve your movement.

  • Recovery core and movement sessions to help you become more aware of your body and core muscles including your pelvic floor.

  • Learn about nutrition and how that can impact your recovery with a nutrition booklet and recipe ideas.

Whi is the programme for?

This programme is for you if you:

  • Have had your 6 week check after birth and want to begin exercising again but not sure where to start.
  • Feeling aches and pains in back and not sure what to do to help.
  • Have been told you need to work on your core more but not sure how or what to do.
  • Leak when running, jumping sneezing or coughing and want to stop.
  • Have been told you have a small prolapse and that exercise will help.
  • Want to go back to fitness classes but scared of doing the wrong thing.

What you are getting with Restore and Recover Postnatal:

An 8 week bespoke 1-1 programme that covers everything you need to know to feel great and get back to exercise safely.

The 8 weeks often includes two massage sessions and six movement sessions (but this will vary depending on oyur needs).

A full assessment to begin with to find out where you are now and where you want to be.

Bespoke homecare videos to complete outside of the sessions.

Nutrition advice and support throughout via a mini guide and recipe ideas.

Weekly support from me via email or Whatsapp.

“After working as a massage therapist and being an expert in pregnancy and postnatal massage in my area I knew I wanted to help more women and understood the importance of the core pelvic floor and good nutrition in order to help women move and feel great for good.

Working with women in all phases of life is what I am truly passionate about. I love seeing women understand their body better, achieve health goals they never thought possible.

How does the programme work?

  • On application to join the programme, I will ask you to complete a  pre-screen to see if the programme is right for you.
  • I then meet with you for your first session to go through the pre-screen and together we go through a full assessment to tailor the programme to your needs. In this session will be the first massage session to focus on release all of those areas and helping you move easier.
  • You will also receive  all of the fitness kit you need to complete the homework exercises on the course in session one.
  • After sesion one you will receive bespoke videos of homecare to complete between each session, a nutrition and recipe leaflet
  • The programme runs for 8 weeks and we meet once a week during this period. Additionally, you will be asked to complete your homecare 3 times a week in between these sessions.
  • The homecare progress each week as you become stronger and your co-ordination improves.
  • I make very regular contact with you throughout the course to ensure you understand what you need to do and are actually doing the work.

You will receive full support to ensure that you have the best opportunity to get the results you want!

Why does the programme get results?

Pelvic floor squeezes aren’t the only thing to focus on after you have had your baby. The pelvic floor muscles and core muscles don’t just work on their own and by combining pilates and functional movements together we can help you get your body feeling strong and moving with ease.

The massage helps reconnect you back to your body, reduce areas of pain and tension and allows you to build strength and cofnidence with exercise.

After the programme you will feel stronger and ready to embark on any post natal fitness you desire!
